Ahh... I'm so thankful that eggs and dairy are not bothering me since they are some of my favorite things!Of course now I have to switch to low-fat or non-fat versions of dairy, I can't even tell the difference.

Dips & Spreads can be so versatile and work great with your meat protein to keep them moist and chewable.

No new posts Seafood

Before surgery, I loved but rarely ate seafood at home due to the cost. Once in awhile I'd talk my friend Kim into lunch at Red Lobster! Yummy. Since surgery, shrimp has become a staple food. Its easy to digest and even if you puree it, its sooo good! Since our little pouches can't hold much, the cost is great! I can buy a 16oz bag of cooked shrimp and use it for SIX MEALS!

This is the perfect comfort food - especially for pre-ops doing the 10 day liquid diet, and the early post-op phase. Of course a good soup is good anytime!

Protein first, but then you need some veggies! Beans are a great high-protein source but there are lots of other ideas here.

No new posts Fiddle-de-dee!

Recipes that sound great -- but need some tweaking to make them pouch-friendly. This is where they sit until I have time to work on them and figure out the nutrional values.
